Tension tents and traditional pole tents are fabric structures supported by side and center poles throughout the tent. The fabric is tensioned down using ratchet straps or ropes at specific points around the perimeter of the tent. Tension tents are available in sizes ranging from 20' to 80' in width and all sizes are expandable in length.

Because tension tents require anchors at specific locations, they are not as flexible as frame tents. The tension tent is a great option when you need to accommodate large numbers of people under one tent without the expense of a clearspan structure. Tension tents are also defined by their dramatic peaks and swooping ridgelines. Though most of our tension tents are white, striped tents are available in limited sizes.
